Plagiarism detection

All manuscripts submitted to the Revista Mexicana de Ingeniería Biomédica must be original and not published or submitted elsewhere, even during the review process stage. Also, to avoid duplication of the submitted contributions and or plagiarism, all the contributions under review will be analyzed using a plagiarism detection software, which must yield a percentage of similarity less than or equal to 5 %. This analysis will be carried before the peer review stage. If the results of this analysis should detect any kind of plagiarism or duplicate publication, the editorial committee will take immediate actions, these actions may include changes, correction or the complete rejection of the manuscript.
