Copyright

Once a contribution has been accepted for publication, a letter of copyright transfer will be sent outlining the following terms and conditions:

• The authors transfer the copyright to the Revista Mexicana de Ingeniería Biomédica (RMIB), published by the Sociedad Mexicana de Ingeniería Biomédica (SOMIB).
• Authors must recognize and accept that the copyright will not be transferred to any other publication by any means, format, language and/or media.
• It is certified that the document has not been previously disclosed or simultaneously submitted to any other publication.
• The content of the contribution does not infringe upon the copyright or other proprietary rights of third parties, whether individuals, companies, or institutions.

Furthermore, it is required that the authors agree that once their contribution is published, it will be subject to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This means that the material may be copied and redistributed in any medium or format, as long as proper credit is given and it is not used for commercial purposes.
